SUE BARTHOLOMEW

My pottery career has taken me on a journey from a maker of domestic ware to manipulating and exploring the textural possibilities of clay.  My sculptural pieces are influenced by the broad spectrum of nature.
Coastal and estuarine landscapes with wide open skies,  rugged rock faces,  observing fungi and plant structures to the use by indigenous people of natural materials for tribal adornment.
