​After studying ceramics and three-dimensional design at Bath Academy of Art in the late 70’s, I pursued a career in teaching in schools and colleges until 2016 when I decided to concentrate on my own work.
 
I love to experiment:  creating non-functional ceramic sculpture using a variety of clays mixed with locally sourced natural material, which when fired to high temperatures offers unpredictable surfaces, creating unique pieces which are sometimes polished and sand-blasted to complete.
